ROUTINE VETERINARY SERVICES:

FULL RANGE SURGERY AND ANCILLARY SERVICES

All anaesthetised patients are monitored for vitals throughout the procedure using a multi-parameter monitor. Patients are maintained on either injectable or inhalation (gas) anaesthesia depending on the individual patient. We prefer to conduct a thorough pre-anaesthetic screening to minimize anaesthetic risk. All testing is done in-house at our clinic.

Dr. Chirag B. Dave (BVSc & AH, MVSc - Surgery, Anaesthesiology, Radiology)

Dr. Chirag Dave is a graduate of the Bombay Veterinary College. He established the DCDPC in 1994. He is a Veterinary Surgeon with specialization in General Surgery, Radiology & Anaesthesiology. His special interests are small animal and exotic companion animal medicine and surgery.

Dr. Dave spends a part of each year in furthering his education. He attends a number of actual and virtual conferences and webinars. As and when the opportunity arises he travels to specialist clinics in the country and abroad to learn of the latest techniques in veterinary medicine and surgery.

Dr. Dave, lives in Ahmedabad with his parents, wife Ankita and Cookie, their dog. In his free time, he can be found walking Cookie.

Dr. Freya Javeri (BVSc & AH, MVS - Veterinary Clinical Studies)

Dr. Freya Javeri is a graduate of Bombay Veterinary College and completed her post-graduation from the University of Melbourne. Her special interests are in diagnostic imaging, small animal and avian medicine and regenerative medicine.

Dr. Javeri enjoys attending various national and international veterinary continuing education workshops and conferences to upgrade her knowledge and skills.

Dr. Javeri lives in Ahmedabad with her family which includes their 3 dogs and 3 birds. Being a qualified judge, she often travels in India and abroad to judge championship dog shows. In her free time, she enjoys playing tennis and spending quality time with her pets.

SUPPORT STAFF

Ankita Dave

Ms. Dave is the Practice Manager at DCDPC. She is responsible for all the client – clinic interface at DCDPC. With a post-graduate degree in communications and an innate love for all furry creatures she ensures that everything runs at its optimal capacity.

Kiran

Kiran is an attendant at DCDPC. He is a natural at animal handling, which springs from his eternal love for animals. He has over the years taken in and tended to a variety of small stray animals. At the moment, he shares his home with a homing pigeon that lost its way and found a safe haven with him.

Vishal

Vishal is also an attendant at DCDPC. He is the youngest member of our team, don't let his height fool you! He loves puppies the most. Sometimes we think being able to play with puppies is his greatest takeaway.

Cookie

Our self-appointed welcoming party. Loves people, but animals, not so much. But she has everyone wrapped around her little toe-nail. She rules the clinic and knows just what to do to get her way, a gentle nudge or a little tantrum, whatever works. All's fair when it is a matter of treats, walks and pats!!!

Please do not ask us to make a diagnosis over the internet or second-guess your veterinarian. Also, giving us a list of symptoms or sending us pictures/videos will not allow us to diagnose your pet’s problem(s) - your pet needs to be examined by one of our doctors for proper diagnosis and treatment.
